What is Tripcairn?
You stand before a world-famous site — the Great Buddha at Tōdai-ji, Notre-Dame de Paris, the galleries of Angkor Wat — a landmark everyone recognises. But the door, the statue, the mural, the stone lantern, the inscribed tablet inside these great sites often have no plaque at all, and no guidebook bothers. Tripcairn collects exactly these small corners everyone walks past and no one explains, giving each one a sourced, verifiable story. It's a micro-guide for your phone: open it in any browser, nothing to install; the content is multilingual and can be listened to, so you can read and listen as you walk, right there on site.
How do I unlock the full guide?
Some sites offer a one-time unlock — you can unlock a single site, a whole city, or All-Access (everywhere). Free sites are free to browse.
Is payment safe? Will I be auto-charged?
Payments are handled by Stripe; we never touch your card number. Everything is a one-time payment — no subscription, no auto-renewal.
Is the content reliable?
Every sentence traces back to a source. Where there's no reliable source, we leave it out rather than make it up — the one line we never cross.
Can I use it offline?
Content you've opened is usually cached; maps and voice depend on your device and connection. Before you go on site, open the place once while you have a connection.
